Music Ministries
"Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth.  Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day." Psalm 96:1-4

/files/Site Images/Grand Piano.jpgMusic is an integral part of ministry at Blue Springs Assembly.  Music is said to be the "international language," crossing barriers of culture, race, and education.  This is why we believe strongly in presenting the gospel through music.  Listed below are the many opportunities for involvement in our music program.

Frontline Choir
Frontline Choir ministers each Sunday morning during both worship services.  The choir presents a dramatized production at Christmas, and a large-scale, fully dramatized musical at Easter.  Frontline Choir is open to all interested adults.

Frontline Orchestra
Frontline Orchestra leads the congregation in praise and worship during both Sunday morning worship services.  Positions are available for anyone wanting to play with at least one year experience.

Kid's Choir
Kids ages five through sixth grade are invited to sing in the Kid's Choir.  The Kid's Choir sings monthly during the Sunday evening service, and prepares a Christmas and another non-seasonal production each year.

Youth Choir
Youth Choir is for teens in seventh through twelfth grade.  The Youth Choir sings each month in the Sunday evening service, prepares a Christmas production, and participates in the District and National Fine Arts Festival.

Easter Musical Production
The Easter musical drama is becoming a tradition here at Blue Springs Assembly.  The combination of music, lights, biblical costumes and willing hearts has been one of our must effective outreaches into our community.  Rehearsals begin in January and continue through the week of Palm Sunday when performances are held.

Christmas Production
It all starts in September with a full-scale Christmas party for the cast and choir.  This production complete with lights, staging, costumes and drama, blends the contemporary with the traditional sights and sounds of Christmas, emphasizing the true reason we celebrate.
