Music Ministries
"Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth.  Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day." Psalm 96:1-4

/files/Site Images/Grand Piano.jpgMusic is an integral part of ministry at Blue Springs Assembly.  Music is said to be the "international language," crossing barriers of culture, race, and education.  This is why we believe strongly in presenting the gospel through music.  Listed below are the many opportunities for involvement in our music program.

Frontline Choir
Frontline Choir ministers during the Sunday morning worship service.  The choir presents a dramatized production at Christmas, and a large-scale, fully dramatized musical at Easter.  Frontline Choir is open to all interested adults and rehearsals are held every Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m.

Frontline Orchestra
Frontline Orchestra leads the congregation in praise and worship during the Sunday morning worship service.  Positions are available for anyone wanting to play with at least one year experience.

Kid's Choir
Kids ages five through sixth grade are invited to sing in the Kid's Choir.  The Kid's Choir prepares a Christmas and another non-seasonal production each year.

Handbell Choir
Ringers meet every two weeks on a Sunday evening from September through December.  Usually the bell choir rings for the holiday season on Sunday mornings and in the annual Christmas candlelight service.

Easter Musical Production
The Easter musical drama is a tradition here at Blue Springs Assembly.  The combination of music, lights, biblical costumes and willing hearts has been one of our must effective outreaches into our community.  Rehearsals begin in January and continue through the week of Palm Sunday when performances are held.

Christmas Production
It all starts in September with a full-scale Christmas party for the cast, choir, orchestra and technical team.  This production, complete with lights, staging, costumes and drama, emphasizes the true reason we celebrate Christmas!
