1. What are the worship services like?
We work hard to make sure every weekend service is creative and relevant to your life. When you arrive, a member of our Host Team will greet you at the door. If you need help finding our Early Childhood Department or kid’s service they will help you find your way.
Our music team will begin the service with contemporary music that is inspiring to the soul. Our Pastor will talk about an issue that is relevant today and what the Bible says about dealing with that issue.
2. What about my children?
While you are enjoying an exciting worship service, your children will be well cared for in a nurturing, fun, safe and clean, age-appropriate environment. We have childcare for children ages 0 to Pre-K and a fun and dynamic Kids service is available for kids Kindergarten to Grade 6.
3. What does your church believe?
4. What’s the vision of Blue Springs Assembly?
We exist to GROW as followers of Jesus Christ, to GIVE of time, resources and abilities, and to GO into our world to accomplish God’s will.
5. Will I have to say anything, sign anything, or be singled out in any way?
We will not make you wear a visitor badge or stand up so that everyone can see you. We would like you to fill out our Friendship Register during offering so that we can assist you in your visit at Blue Springs Assembly. After service please join us at The Fireside Room. The Fireside Room is a place for those new to BSA to connect with others, ask questions and enjoy free refreshments.
6. How do I get to church?
7. What should I wear?
Some people come dressed in jeans and t-shirts while others come dressed business casual. If you prefer to wear ties or a dress, that’s fine too. We want you to feel comfortable while we experience worship together in the House of the Lord.
8. What do you have for junior high and senior high school students?
We have ENGAGE Student Ministries for students from 7th grade to senior high. They meet during our mid-week service on Wednesday nights starting at 7pm. Click here to learn more about ENGAGE Student Ministries.
9. Do you have a mid-week service?
Yes, at 7 pm on Wednesdays, adults meet in the Sanctuary for Bible Study with Pastor John. Students seventh grade through college-age meet in the Worship Center for ENGAGE Student Ministries. There are Boys and Girls clubs that meet for elementary-aged children and a fully-staffed Early Childhood Department.
10. How do I get connected?
While there are many ways to connect at Blue Springs Assembly, one of the best ways is to meet our Staff in the Fireside Room after service. Along with our staff, we have information about the church and free refreshments! We would love to meet you in the Fireside Room after the Sunday morning service. See you there!
